Hi, I’m Kenny (or Jun-ge, if you prefer). Just finished my military service and landed my first job. Started with hardware stuff in undergrad, got into AI during grad school because it seemed more interesting—did some computer vision research. Now I’m working as a junior RD engineer at a tech company in Taichung, mostly dealing with BMC firmware development.

I used to hit the gym regularly, but lately I’ve been running instead (trying to save money). When I’m too busy to work out, I just mess around on my computer or go for random walks.

Automated Foreign Object Detection for Feed Production Lines (Industry-Academia Collaboration)
Worked on developing a real-time AI system for detecting foreign objects in feed production lines. The goal was to automatically identify and filter out contaminants to ensure product quality. I collaborated with my team to identify pain points and functional requirements, helping with task distribution. My main responsibilities included building the frontend interface, modifying models, and performance tuning. Eventually got a lightweight model deployed on embedded devices for real-time inference, significantly improving automation and production efficiency.
